product_page_unavailableDisapproval
Product page unavailable (404, redirects, or server errors)
Google couldn't access the URL you submitted in the link or mobile_link attribute, so the product can't be shown in ads or free listings. This covers hard failures: pages that don't exist, endless redirects, server errors, or DNS problems.
Common causes
- ·Page not found — the URL doesn't exist on your server (404)
- ·More than 2 redirects between the submitted URL and the final page
- ·Server errors (HTTP 5xx)
- ·Hostname not resolvable (DNS configuration issue)
- ·URL doesn't start with http:// or https://
- ·Your robots.txt file itself is unreachable, so Google can't verify it may crawl
How to fix it
- 01Open the exact submitted URL in an incognito window — fix anything that doesn't land directly on a working product page
- 02Replace redirect chains with the final destination URL in your feed
- 03Check server logs for 5xx errors around Google's crawl attempts and fix server capacity or configuration
- 04Verify DNS resolves correctly and the URL protocol is valid
- 05Update affected products under Products → 'Needs attention', or fix URLs in your source data and re-upload
