landing_page_errorDisapproval
Landing page not working
The product's landing page failed to load when Google checked it — an error status, a timeout, or a block. Affected items are disapproved until the page loads reliably for both shoppers and Google's crawlers.
Common causes
- ·The page returns an HTTP error (404, 500, or other 4xx/5xx)
- ·The product was deleted or unpublished in the shop but is still in the feed
- ·Broken redirects or typos in the submitted URL
- ·A firewall, bot protection, or geo-IP block stopping Google's crawlers
- ·'AdsBot-Google' blocked by your robots.txt file
- ·Slow page loads causing crawler timeouts
How to fix it
- 01Open the link attribute URL directly — it must return HTTP 200 and show a working page with a functional buy button
- 02Remove deleted or unpublished products from the feed
- 03Check that robots.txt doesn't block 'AdsBot-Google', 'Googlebot', or 'Googlebot-image'
- 04Test the page with Search Console's URL Inspection tool and from different locations — regional firewall blocks are a common hidden cause
- 05Fix slow pages (PageSpeed Insights helps identify why) so crawls don't time out
- 06Once fixed, request a review; recrawls typically complete within 12–48 hours
