Tax setting issues for products targeting the US

For offers targeting the United States, Merchant Center handles sales tax through account-level tax settings rather than the product price. If the tax Google expects doesn't line up with what your checkout actually charges, affected US offers can be flagged. How to fix it

1. 01For US targeting, keep sales tax out of the price attribute — configure it in Merchant Center's account-level tax settings instead
2. 02Compare what your checkout actually charges for a few test orders against what your Merchant Center tax settings declare, and align them
3. 03Only use the tax [tax] attribute for individual products that genuinely need to override account settings, and only for the US
4. 04After correcting, resubmit your product data and request a review of the issue in Merchant Center
