Excessive capitalization in product titles

The product title uses too many capital letters (e.g. ALL CAPS), which Google flags because it reads as spammy and less trustworthy to shoppers. Normal capitalization fixes it; legitimate uses of capitals are still fine.

Common causes

• ·Titles written in all caps in the shop system
• ·Imported supplier data using caps for emphasis
• ·Feed rules uppercasing titles

How to fix it

1. 01Rewrite flagged titles in normal sentence or title case
2. 02Keep legitimate capitals: acronyms and initials (ADHD, UNICEF), phone numbers (1-800-CALLNOW), country and currency codes (UK, USD)
3. 03Fix single items under Products → 'Needs attention' → 'Edit product', or bulk-fix titles in your source data and re-upload
